You all thought we'd forgotten about our little Alaska Grape Nuts group, didn't you? But, in reality, we've simply been doing the reverse summer hibernation that all Alaskans do. Now that winter is upon us again, the wine fun also rises.

Halloween
Went to Brown Jug and bought two Spanish wines. Both blends.
The Pasanau Ceps Nous is an intersting blend of 60% Grenache, 23% Mazuelo, 9% Syrah, 8% Cab.
This cost $24 w/ Brown Jug Discount.
The other is a $14 Rioja Vega. Also a blend but with 50% Tempranillo, 25 Mazuelo, 25% Grenache. I want to try the Pasanau tonight... what an interesting blend!!
